The Boogielicious series of shows held at ABSA KKNK 2012 unearthed a wealth of new musical and performance talent.
I performed in two of the shows which featured songs from the 70’s. I was blown away by the level of camaraderie, commitment and dedication of the singers. During rehearsals they worked tirelessly to hone and perfect their singing and choreography.
Under the tutelage and watchful eye of Natalia Da Rocha, who conceptualised and produced Boogielicious the shows were a resounding success. The full seats in the venue bore testament to this.
A great concept, a visionary producer, an outstanding cast, an appreciative crowd and a willing sponsor, ABSA, made Boogielicious a show to remember.
The singers: Sascha Egelhof, Michaela Saayman, Danielle Ford, Ricardo De Ruiter, Sean Jacobs and David Piet. With Ramon Alexander on Keyboard, Jeremy Titus on bass and Randall Hendricks on drums... It was an amazing experience!!!
